Understand your Permit Readiness Score
Readiness is a 0–100 weighted deduction score — a triage signal, not a guarantee of approval.

Score ranges
85–100 = ready to submit pending human review. 60–84 = close, several items to address. 30–59 = significant gaps, do not submit yet. Below 30 = packet is not assembled.
Confidence levels
Low / medium / high reflects how much signal PermitOS had. Rules-only reports cap at medium — you should treat scores as triage, not approval.
Issue severity
Critical and high issues block submission. Medium issues should be resolved or explicitly accepted. Low issues are quality-of-life improvements.
Suggested fixes
Each issue includes a suggested fix. Many can be turned into a Correction task with one click so the team can track resolution.
Trust note
PermitOS is decision support. The authority having jurisdiction is the only entity that can approve a permit.
